i played a bunch of that crappy Resistance Vita game yesterday.

everything about it is making me mad. And not even gameplay. The gameplay isn't too bad, I guess. The shoehorned in touch screen controls are a little...weird... and the AI is bad, but otherwise...eh. but everything else is making me mad about it. the game looks like crap. and the story. everything about the story makes me mad too. it doesn't make sense in the resistance canon and i just... I JUST CANNOT EVEN. i accidentally got spoilered for the end of it too, and I don't even care, really, but hearing what the last boss is? EVERY SINGLE BIT OF RAGE. its so stupid and I just....ruhihksdjkjsdlga.

actually what made me the most mad was a forced resistance 2 reference. one of the characters is just like OH BUT NATHAN HALE and im like no. no. you do not speak that name, unholy resistance game. plus it was like, your lady sidekick who exists only to scream obvious things at you. she is not even a soldier. she should not even know who nathan hale is. it was just the most forced ref in the entire world and it made me madder than it should. but this is why everything about this game's story is fail and butts.

and then like 2 hours after i was done playing my vita my arm got all super hurt times and it's STILL hurting. i am just wondering if now playing vita games triggers more pain. its like i can't do anything without it getting worse. nothing. whenever it gets better im like OH MAYBE I'LL FINALLY TRY MAKING xyz but then my arm is like NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE.

well. i was on that. i have like. 70 emails in my inbox from these guys. all because ubisoft accidentally my email. it was hilarious until some dbag started adverting his dumb tumbly. i like how ubisoft has said nothing about this, despite accidentallying like 1000 email addresses. NBD THIS HAPPENS DON'T SAY ANYTHING. can i have a free copy of watch dogs for getting all of these email spam including from some hipster dbag and his tumbly.

i would share caps of the email chain because some of the replies are hilarious (all the ones calling ubisoft failures, mostly) but gmail is being a jerkbag and i cant figure out how to cap an entire chain of like 70 gmails. if someone can tell me i will show you.

i made this a while ago. He's tiny. Like maybe 3inches tall. He also took way too long to make and still exploded my arm. YAY ME. There's a wire armature inside him too, but I don't like posing him much (BCUZ IM TERRIFIED OF RUINING IT (my life lol)) but yeah. BTW IF YOU CAN'T TELL ITS DAVID SARIF FROM DXHR BECAUSE HE'S SO COOL NO ONE CAN DENY. obvs older men turn into the most kawaiidesu artsy crafty things. NO ONE QUESTION ME. the only thing im sad about is that making him was way harder/more time consuming to make than i originally thought. the good news is that i didn't spend any money on supplies for him. i already had all that fabric sitting around as scraps *_* except his vest was fabric i colored slightly...but it worked i think.

and i also got these in the mail. And they are super cute and I want moar Sackboy as so-and-so keychains. Jak & Daxter ones exist, because I've seen PHOTOS, so im waiting for them to show up...and there's killzone ones too. i need them.

yesterday i pulled the cutscenes off my Jak X game and made slightly over 500 caps of them. yeah i just what.

i did some shopping today even though i shouldn't have. i got some things. Though everything I got was relatively cheap. YOU CAN TELL WHAT I AM CURRENTLY INTO RIGHT NOW, CAN'T YOU!?

uhhhhh yeah i beat all the games in the jak collection already. i still need to collect the orbs for jak 2 and jak 3 though for the platinum trophies. it will probably make me want to flip tables because some of the junk they want you to do for them are annoying as hell but ...................trophies.

but then i got jak x and daxter today (AS YOU SEE) and it took like 900 gamestops to find them (ok 6...) and every place had Daxter but no place had it with a case, and idc if I only paid $2 for it (yes two whole dollars) i want that case. >:I but then the last gamestop i went to i gave up and was like WHATEVER I'LL JUST BUY IT WITHOUT THE CASE but then the copy he pulled out from behind the counter was like a brand new case (with manual even) and i was like HOLYCRAP and it was an exciting day. also jak x was $5. and then i noticed on the back of jak x (and daxter) it says you can connect daxter to it and unlock extra junk in jak x. OH GOODIE. idek what it is but im kind of excited about this. FREE THINGS YEY.

then i also cleaned off a shelf on my desk that had 900 old CDs on it (AND FLOPPY DISKS. I FOUND FLOPPY DISKS!!!!!! my computer doesnt even have a floppy drive...) and i threw all that crap away and made room for PONIES. in my head this shelf would have fit all my ponies and still had room for more but somehow it didn't turn out that way.... :| my friend has 2 more fashion style ponies for me rn too. ....i have no idea how im going to fit them on this shelf.

YEP SO IDK. im not even tired but i should go to bed.

also look how terrifying that Daxter figurine I got is. idk if anyone on my flist has played jak and daxter?! (i am so late to this dont judge me) but ...i...i don't really like daxter. i desperately wanted to like him but i just couldn't. D: i have no idea why but... ugh.

the news about PS Vita is driving me crazy. I just... I cannot resist.

I redeemed a bunch of vouchers from various rewards things I have and will soon have $110 in amazon monies, that, plus whatever my return is (hopefully more than $200 :|) will buy me a PSVita without dipping into my pay check money at all! This will feel like a gift to myself, essentially. And it couldn't have come at a better time!

PS Blog posted about Resistance: Burning Skies and they showed a tiny clip of gameplay during a live stream thing a bit ago. I ... I need it.

I know it seems funny to be excited about a Resistance game after being sad that the series was over... but well, this is the first step Resistance is taking away from Insomniac. I am interested to see where it goes and while the character development in Resistance: Retribution left me confused, the gameplay was still pretty fun. I am hoping this one will be good too. I'm sure it won't be an Insomniac game, for sure, but I'll take what I can get.

Otherwise I will be content to play Lumines for all of time.

so festival of blood came out today.

it's really short. like, idk i can play inFamous with the efficiency of a robot but I beat it in 3hrs and I spent a lot of that time dicking around.

I spent EVEN MORE TIME DICKING AROUND (and pausing the game lots) but i already got all the trophies in it too.

..........in one day.

.........best $10 of my life.

NOW I WANNA GO BACK TO PLAYING DEUS EX but if i do my playfire profile won't show Festival of Blood on it in the timeline and YES IT MATTERS. hnnggg i do wanna play more though. at least Uncharted 3 next week is the last new game coming out that I want like burning. I can play it and then catch up on Resistance 3 trophies, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and Deus Ex. and bioshock.............maybe........someday

in other news, i started playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution last night. It's been pretty interesting so far. I TAKE FOREVER TO PLAY IT THOUGH because i keep giving the guards too much credit. i did my first mission without killing any of the things.

i am however quickly figuring out the guards are really dumb (no srsly, theyre super dumb). you can hide behind a pole 2 inches away from someone and even if he's looking for you he won't even find you. i mean really. a pole. you won't even look all the way around it?

then idk if my flist is familiar with it but you play this guy that basically has robot parts. so like you can upgrade the robot parts on him with XP and all this shenanigans but one of the upgrades you can buy for him is the ability to smash through walls.

so taking my first thought that came to my head upon learning you can smash through walls + how stupid the guards are i bring you...

so yesterday was pretty good. i ended up getting a migraine before work was over. when i got home my parents convinced me to take a vicodin for it since we were supposed to go out to eat. i did and surprisingly it worked. i did feel a bit zombie-ish but it didn't completely zonk me out either...which was ok.

ANYWAY, it was a pretty good day in general...:3 I got some neat shirts and some vitamin water and like 900 different snacks from trader joe's from my parents (y so good, trader joe's.) and i got $50 in gamestop munz and a neato playstation pin from my brother. desu ex, you will be mine i got a starbucks card from work, and some more snacky things... also eyebrowaddict got me the r3 guide (artwork yay) and a super cool inFamous 2 shirt. :UUU

got a lot of wishes from various friends too (thanks 2 you all.) including on some forums i go on. :'D i was kind of surprised i got a pm and a few visitor messages and all. everyone is so nice.

but like, ngl, the highlight of my day that had me flipping out was this:

My icon add-on packages expired...and LJ locked me out of the majority of my favorite icons. (Including the Dylan icon i wanted to use for this entry >:C) I wonder how long they store them before they get deleted. I can't afford to re-new them right now and I need to get my bills out of the way first...but if I have left over I'll renew. I LOVE MY ICONS ;-;

in other news...! I WON THAT SUPER COOL POSTER!! it was this one. It has DYLAN. and it is official!! Italy scored a whole bunch of random inFamous things for pre-ordering from various retailers. It's kinda neat...this poster is by far the coolest thing though. The rest of it is just random items with the inFamous 2 logo on it.

I emailed the seller about this one and learned a bit more about it, then I did some digging on my own...

It's really, really solid. It feels like it's actually made out of metal. My first thought was when I pulled it out of the box is that it feels like I could actually kill someone with it. lol. It's totally legit too, I actually found the original shipping invoice still inside the box...from Sony Computer Entertainment to G4 Media. :b

Also sad thing, the tips busted off it somehow. Not sure if the seller did it or if G4 did it... I found them....after I had accidentally thrown them away in two seperate trash cans (don't even ask) and of course they fell to the bottom.....so i dug through the entire contents of these trash cans...BUT I FOUND THEM!!!!! now i just need to find out how to put them back on...but such is a battle for another day.
