antoj: (Crazy)
so leik i got something cool yesterday.

its rly big.

like

taller than me, even.

*_*

just the top.

with a copy of the PAL cover to match. (blu ray size p much)

the entire display is 6ft tall.

i opened it at my friend's house in her kitchen. it was barely taller than her fridge. lul.

ALSO THIS ONE TOO!!!

SO HAPPY to have something else that is inFamous 1!!! And this sign is /so cool/! NGL, I thought it was going to be a lot smaller than it turned out to be, but i'm not going to complain! This is still pretty fantastic. :D also the vibrancy of colors in this is more accurate to my other ones. half my photos were taken by my phone and the other half with my camera because my camera is a hunk of shit 99% of the time. i really need a new one ffff

*_* yaaaaaay.

also look! this was on the outisde of the box...:'D

tis showing how the display looks put together. :'D IT HOLDS VIDEO GAMES. it came with some other cardboard hunks too. so someday if/when i have the space to fold this thing out i am totally going to do that and fill it with my copies of inFamous 2. IT WILL BE BEAUTIFUL.

also been listening to the Deus Ex soundtrack like crazy. WHY ARE YOU SO BEAUTIFUL, SOUNDTRACK!? ;-;

Those displays are awesome! I like how Cole is just chilling at the bottom of the first picture.

Speaking of inFamous, I got your DVD in the mail today. It's $2.37 after fees/shipping, and you can send payment to nelsonn AT alumni.upenn.edu

ALSO. some derpus paid me with an eCheck, and it should be clearing in the next few days. Would it be okay if I send it once it clears? otherwise its gonna punch my bank account in the kidney's again aaaaaaaand its bill week this week...:'D

Of course it's fine to wait. As long as this DVD is out of my house by, say, Christmas. (Any longer than that and I start to lose things that are just lying around.)

It'll definitely be sooner than that! LOL. I do want to know what's on it ok. I just am waiting for this stupid eCheck to clear. I DIDN'T KNOW THEY TOOK THIS LONG. ;-; WHY. WHYYY

Sweet, I like how you used your little cardboard Cole as a size reference...XD

There is a Deus EX soundtrack?! Though, I have yet to play the game I am curious! I love me some good soundtracks...:3

YES! He is also approving of the amazing signs. *_* they're so pretty.

AND YES! Its absolutely beautiful. ;-; if Deus Ex doesn't win all the video game soundtrack related awards for 2011 then I will flip some tables. There's actually two versions of the soundtrack... there is the one I got from the CE i bought and then a retail one that has some additional tracks on it. I wouldn't mind sending you it if you had an idea of a way I could do that. :b here is a sample song from the soundtrack...my personal favorite song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiN6t7K7txw) :3

No just pretty, but spiffy!! There is a possibility that a cardboard display of Zorg exists, I have found both Korbean and Leeloo on the French eBay site...:3

Hum, I wonder if I could download a free copy online?! I actually prefer to own the physical CD, but when money is tight. I admit to downloading free copies of the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Doctor Who Christmas Special soundtracks...;_;

Well, I actually have an iPod...a worthwhile investment since I love music! I am not sure how comfortable you would feel with this idea, but you could mail the CD to me, I download it onto the computer and then send it back. If you do not want to do that, then I understand 110%.

Very lovely music, gets the creative juices flowing...:D

That would be super awesome! *_* I know I am totally in love with the ones I got.. also, funny you mention French eBay because that's where I got these from. I guess France has a thing for super fancy cardboard displays? :'D

Actually, the only format I have the soundtrack is on the special edition DVD I got with my CE...and unfortunately it's also in region 2 because it's from the UK. So I am not sure if your computer could read it? XD; I could maybe find a way to send you the tracks digitally though.. I don't have the retail version at the moment but I plan on getting it soon because it has additional tracks the CE one is missing.

its a really lovely soundtrack though. definitely one of my favorites as far as video games go.

Really awesome, though I wonder what Rodney would think of a big cardboard display of Zorg in my bedroom?! I keep most of my collectibles in the bedroom, away from the cats! Well, Luc Besson is French so it makes sense that they would have better Fifth Element stuff. As for inFamous it is hard to say?!

Oh, I understand...I am unsure if my laptop can play region 2 stuff?! It has Windows 7 if that means anything. I did some digging around on the net for a free download, but I did not have much luck...:\

It is amazing how far video game music has come...

LOL. it might be a bit of a surprise. :"D That makes sense for fifth element... but inFamous...not sure, other than Sony Europe seems to have a better marketing department compared to Sony North America. :b

Probably not. Most computers can't unless you do funky crap to them. lol. i got into the service menu for my DVD player so I could get into it that way for videos, and use some software to get into the drive on my computer. I run windows XP though.. so i am not sure if Windows 7 would work with my method.

I might be able to get it up on my server as a zip file...

AND I KNOW... video games in general, really. i dont think i've played a game with as amazing as a soundtrack as this one though. i even have both inFamous soundtracks and they are nothing compared to this one...

To my surprise, Rodney could care less about the life sized Zorg head. In fact for my b-day present he paid for the glass eyes!! Knowing him, he would probably see the cardboard cut out and look the other way. Sony North America needs to get their poop together...:P

Hard to say?! I am always up to doing funky crap though...XD

Zip file works, I have a program that will unzip it for me. That doesn't sound fully right, LOL!! When I hear "unzip," I think pants...XD

I have always liked the Chrono Cross OST, but I am sure it is dated now...

WELL THATS GOOD AT LEAST. :'D luckily i don't really have anyone to give me judgment over things I have except for my parents...sometimes. but they don't notice things i get in my room (bcuz they don't come in here) and in the off chance that they're like "What is that/when did that come here" i just say I'd always had it and i am easily believed lolollo though its not always a lie... recently my dad noticed my Cole and Zeke plush and asked me when I got them....... it was like, really!? I've had them for over a year!!

OK COOL. I'll get it ready and PM you a link in a bit here. :D

Also no such thing as dated soundtracks...! Actually I still sometimes listen to tracks from a super old game for the Amiga I used to watch my brother play as a kid. I remember we even recorded the soundtrack ourselves onto a cassette tape while the game was running. LOL. but that could be nostalgia talking... :D

My Mom gave me grief over Pokemon when I still lived with her! Though, the rest of the stuff in my room she would see and like your parents ask, "When did you get this?!" Sometimes it was stuff she had gotten me for my b-day or Christmas too! Parents are funny creatures, LOL!! XD

As you know, I got the PM and downloaded it already...;)

You recorded game music on tapes too?! I did that with Super Mario, LOL!! Now, I actually have the official Super Mario World 2 disc CD set from Japan. The one CD has music from the original Super Mario all the way too Super Mario World! :3

LOL. luckily they don't seem to care about most of my things... just the sometimes odd thing that shows up, like the Amp...the box that came in was very large and heavy so obviously it turned some heads.

YES. Well, I did for that one anyway. Sadly I don't think the one I recorded for had an official sound track of any kind, but I downloaded better ones off the internet. I still like listening to it. *_* So I don't think its ever too old.. I also didn't know super mario had soundtracks. I shouldn't be surprised though, I suppose.

I can see how the box the Amp came in would turn heads. Though, I have gotten big packages here in the past and Rodney could careless! Then again, most of it was Pokemon stuff and he knew that some of it I would be selling anyway...

Apparently, the Super Mario soundtracks were only available from a Japanese club of sorts. Let's just say the Super Mario World one I won was not cheap, the 1st disk is actually the music redone in a somewhat jazz style. Well, some of the songs are jazz sounding...but they no longer sound like game music. Here is what I have:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPER-MARIO-WORLD-Original-Soundtrack-OST-CD-snes-nes-/250939649367?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6d2b2d57

I got mine for about $100.00, still expensive! I also have the Super Mario 3 one, but I don't care for the arrangements much. I'll probably re-sell it. I mean my Super Mario World CD set has the original music from Mario 3 anyway and I could always use the $$$...;)
