you guys.

last night i was trying to play MOAR jak x because it's my life suddenly and like the R2 button (THE TURBO BOOST BUTTON IN THE GAME) was getting stuck to the point where it was ruining my races because my character would be like IDK HOW TO TURBO LOOLOLLOOLOLOL and then everyone and their dog would pass me and it was lame in a bun.

AND THEN I WAS LIKE!!!!1 IM GONNA OPEN THIS CONTROLLER AND CLEAN THE BUTTONS. THEN IT WONT STICK ANYMOAR.

so i opened it up and it was the most disgusting inside.

i am never buying another used controller ever. :'c I usually buy my stuff new but I was late to the ps2 land and I got it used at Gamestop like a year ago I guess. The dust and grime inside the controller was nothing like I'd seen. I don't know if they rolled the thing in dirt at some point or not??

i mean look at these, and how it just gets worse:

THE GROSSEST BUTTON I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. q-tips would hardly pull the grime off that X button. I just..... HOW DO YOU EVEN MANAGE TO GET THIS MUCH SHIT CAKED INSIDE YOUR CONTROLLER!?

the most disgusting thing about this is that i realized i had been actually PLAYING GAMES WITH THIS MONSTER for this long without realizing how gross it was inside.

it took nearly 20 q-tips and almost 2 hours to clean that controller.

and if it doesn't fix my button sticking issues in Jak X I'm just gonna throw it against a wall.

i did some shopping today even though i shouldn't have. i got some things. Though everything I got was relatively cheap. YOU CAN TELL WHAT I AM CURRENTLY INTO RIGHT NOW, CAN'T YOU!?

uhhhhh yeah i beat all the games in the jak collection already. i still need to collect the orbs for jak 2 and jak 3 though for the platinum trophies. it will probably make me want to flip tables because some of the junk they want you to do for them are annoying as hell but ...................trophies.

but then i got jak x and daxter today (AS YOU SEE) and it took like 900 gamestops to find them (ok 6...) and every place had Daxter but no place had it with a case, and idc if I only paid $2 for it (yes two whole dollars) i want that case. >:I but then the last gamestop i went to i gave up and was like WHATEVER I'LL JUST BUY IT WITHOUT THE CASE but then the copy he pulled out from behind the counter was like a brand new case (with manual even) and i was like HOLYCRAP and it was an exciting day. also jak x was $5. and then i noticed on the back of jak x (and daxter) it says you can connect daxter to it and unlock extra junk in jak x. OH GOODIE. idek what it is but im kind of excited about this. FREE THINGS YEY.

then i also cleaned off a shelf on my desk that had 900 old CDs on it (AND FLOPPY DISKS. I FOUND FLOPPY DISKS!!!!!! my computer doesnt even have a floppy drive...) and i threw all that crap away and made room for PONIES. in my head this shelf would have fit all my ponies and still had room for more but somehow it didn't turn out that way.... :| my friend has 2 more fashion style ponies for me rn too. ....i have no idea how im going to fit them on this shelf.

YEP SO IDK. im not even tired but i should go to bed.

also look how terrifying that Daxter figurine I got is. idk if anyone on my flist has played jak and daxter?! (i am so late to this dont judge me) but ...i...i don't really like daxter. i desperately wanted to like him but i just couldn't. D: i have no idea why but... ugh.

the news about PS Vita is driving me crazy. I just... I cannot resist.

I redeemed a bunch of vouchers from various rewards things I have and will soon have $110 in amazon monies, that, plus whatever my return is (hopefully more than $200 :|) will buy me a PSVita without dipping into my pay check money at all! This will feel like a gift to myself, essentially. And it couldn't have come at a better time!

PS Blog posted about Resistance: Burning Skies and they showed a tiny clip of gameplay during a live stream thing a bit ago. I ... I need it.

I know it seems funny to be excited about a Resistance game after being sad that the series was over... but well, this is the first step Resistance is taking away from Insomniac. I am interested to see where it goes and while the character development in Resistance: Retribution left me confused, the gameplay was still pretty fun. I am hoping this one will be good too. I'm sure it won't be an Insomniac game, for sure, but I'll take what I can get.

Otherwise I will be content to play Lumines for all of time.

SUP FLIST. this post i am going to talk about the video games i played over the course of this year, and such. its basic 100% uninteresting to everyone except me so i won't be upset if you skip this.

so if you've had the unfortunate expirience of being eyebrowaddict or thekayla recently you'd know i've suddenly developed a borderline creepy obsession with deus ex: human revolution.

it all started with a trailer...

AND THEN... i got the game for my birthday. sort of...well, my brother claimed he didn't know what games i like (despite me mentioning an interest in deus ex before my birthday :I) and just got me gamestop cards that equaled the amount of a ps3 game. soooo i got deus ex!!!1

idk if i can even say why i love this game. there's a lot of things in it. its so ridiculously shiny (i mean, dat trailer.) and you get mini cutscenes for punching dudes in the face which sounds lame but is actually hilarious and amazing all at once. or maybe its because you can also do things like this. but also maybe it has to do with jensen's perfect hair. srsly i keep talking about his hair. i don't even know you guys. look at this perfect hair.

i stayed up till 3am last night just to beat the game. idec that i still feel like crap and i got like 4 hours of sleep.......aaaaand i still want to play it like 9 more times. delicious platinum trophy. it also has a really cool soundtrack... i might try to get my hands on it when it comes out.

anyway, jensen has perfect hair, you guys. i've never really paid much attention to hair styles on characters this much. IDK WHY I EVEN LIKE HIS HAIR SO MUCH BUT I DO. though Zeke gets +10 for sideburns which are cool too, ngl SO LIKE......f-list, since I am certain none of you give two shits about Deus Ex:HR, so instead plz to share with me who you think has the best hair.

so festival of blood came out today.

it's really short. like, idk i can play inFamous with the efficiency of a robot but I beat it in 3hrs and I spent a lot of that time dicking around.

I spent EVEN MORE TIME DICKING AROUND (and pausing the game lots) but i already got all the trophies in it too.

..........in one day.

.........best $10 of my life.

NOW I WANNA GO BACK TO PLAYING DEUS EX but if i do my playfire profile won't show Festival of Blood on it in the timeline and YES IT MATTERS. hnnggg i do wanna play more though. at least Uncharted 3 next week is the last new game coming out that I want like burning. I can play it and then catch up on Resistance 3 trophies, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and Deus Ex. and bioshock.............maybe........someday

in other news, i started playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution last night. It's been pretty interesting so far. I TAKE FOREVER TO PLAY IT THOUGH because i keep giving the guards too much credit. i did my first mission without killing any of the things.

i am however quickly figuring out the guards are really dumb (no srsly, theyre super dumb). you can hide behind a pole 2 inches away from someone and even if he's looking for you he won't even find you. i mean really. a pole. you won't even look all the way around it?

then idk if my flist is familiar with it but you play this guy that basically has robot parts. so like you can upgrade the robot parts on him with XP and all this shenanigans but one of the upgrades you can buy for him is the ability to smash through walls.

so taking my first thought that came to my head upon learning you can smash through walls + how stupid the guards are i bring you...

So idk if i posted this here but i am working on getting the platinum trophies in inFAMOUS and inFAMOUS 2 again on an alternate PSN account (its "CoelMacGroof" if anyone wants to add him ololol) but today i accidentally glitches. i find fun things in inFAMOUS no matter what, no matter how many times i have played it...

and btw i have all the trophies except the ones for going through on evil. bawww evil cole i dont like you so obvs this plat won't be hard to get. :I I can blow through the entire game (ignoring side missions anyway) in like a day. I CAN PLAY THIS GAME LIKE A ROBOT. ITS PROBABLY CREEPY AND WEIRD. but after 10+ times what do you expect

i made a european PSN account today so i could use the code that came in my press kit. i give this guy some credit for not using the codes ololloll but i got a kickass inFAMOUS 2 dynamic theme out of it.... also since I have another PSN account now I am also going to use it to get the platinum for both inFAMOUS and inFAMOUS 2 again. i am such a huge nerd you guys dont even know

I've started with inFAMOUS again, obvs, but uh at the start of the game i already did this: these guys are so totally sexy let me tell you... there no words... just lols...lots of them.

this is another post about infamous 2. i hope you're used to this by now. if not i apologize sort of. i started on my evil play last night. I DON'T LIKE EVIL COLE but sometimes stuff he does is funny. like you can get away with throwing cars at everything and not even care. i had literally just touched feet in new marais before he went on a huge rampage and destroyed all of the things. actually it was even more funny in my attempts to juggle cars one of them actually fell on him and he died instantly. its what he deserves

BUT YEA I DONT LIKE EVIL COLE. his powers aren't as good as the good karma powers, and he turns really ugly. lol. good cole looks human still and he acts like one :| BUT YEAAAAA. im doing it for the trophies.

but the main point of this post is to show you some lols i've got in infamous 2 so far. no game would be any game i play unless i find 9 ways to break it. i can tell this is still running on the same engine that infamous 1 ran in too....because some of the same glitches from i1 are in i2. like, if cole's foot gets stuck on something he jumps too close to he can't run anymore but instead you can make him spin in place w/o his legs moving (its really funny, i have a video of this happening to me in infamous 1, as well, if anyone wanted to see what i meant)

i've also made him float in place like that other video of cole i made in infamous 1 put to lady gaga music. loloollo i miss somethings though, like stretchy legs macgrath from infamous 1. THAT WAS HILARIOUS :( ok enough of my rambling i have photos of glitches under the cut:

yesterday i went to gamestop to finish paying off LA Noire. I did this in case my surgery leaves me in too much pain to go get it myself i can try to beg someone else to get it for me. but i doubt it will work cuz no one gives a shit olololol BUT ANYWAYS.... I also was gonna ask the gamestop dude if I could take a picture of their inFAMOUS 2 display for my website....the wishlist, you know?

But it wasn't up anymore! So instead I asked him what happened to it and he just whisks it out from behind the counter and presents it to me. I was like "I can have this?" AND THUS IT WAS SO...

Also the guy at gamestop said he'd hold the other smaller inFAMOUS 2 display poster for me when the game comes out. I have the best gamestop.

I spent most of yesterday cleaning up my room and re-organizing and stuff. :3 Very happy with how it came out. I can only do so much with the tiny space of my room.

I also got a new ps3 harddrive today... my other one was kind of running out of room and I wanted a new one and they're cheap (!!) and easy to replace. I did some other errands too which included finding a new flavor of skittles and a killzone action figure.

Anyway the harddrive was 500gb for $50. NICE DEAL. I get it, bring it home open it and uh..... lol did they put the wrong one in this box? I checked my receipt again and the box it was in and it said indeed 500gb. NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING I MEAN FREE SPACE YEA.

So then I plug it into my ps3 get it running/etc everythings back up to speed (just need PSN to come back /sobs/) and I notice it really IS a 640gb harddrive... It was then that I discovered a paper insert inside the box that said "You have just received 140 extra gigabytes of disk space and no extra cost!" and it was dated March 2011. SO WAS IT JUST ONE SHIPMENT OF THEM WITH 640GB IN THE 500GB BOX? or did i just manage to get super lucky? :'D

Either way my PS3 now has more storage room than my desktop PC......which is uh.....really sad. LOL.

At least Sucker Punch said they're going to be extending the inFAMOUS 2 beta. I normally play my ps3 games offline but the ONE TIME i need psn to work it cock blocks me. :'C crai.

SO I GUESS SUCKER PUNCH REALLY WANTS ME IN THAT BETA...

because they just sent me another beta invite lol. this is kind of funny... :'D

I did ask them on twitter if I'm supposed to have it because the email sent to me has links that are specific to my email address and I don't want to mess anything up. /paranoid btw/ But if not then lololol someone is getting a beta code.

actually this is technically the third beta code i've been sent, but the second one was a "fix" code because my account was locked out of the beta forums for some reason

ALSO ACCORDING TO THE WEBSITE NO ONE ELSE HAS PLAYED MY MISSION. :C I would try posting it in the beta forums but I'd feel bad posting my crap mission. LMAO I BARELY SPENT LIKE 15 MINUTES PUTTING IT TOGETHER. IT DOES NOT DESERVE POPULARITY... but it amuses me anyway.

i've also discovered i can forgive sucker punch for removing the ability to punch things with Cole's face because now you can throw everything that isn't nailed down at EVERYTHING. i killed an enemy with a porta-potty last night. something i'd been trying to do on infamous 1 for a while now ngl I also killed a joe with a shopping cart, a dumpster, a traffic cone... i was even throwing wooden pallets and trash cans with fires in them at some joes. skdaldksald.

also its super hilarious to me when you throw an item just right, and it hits a corner or something and rockets 10000000mph in the opposite direction after it bounces. this is the kind of thing that can literally entertain me for hours. good job, sp, good job

it just occurred to me that infamous 2 is less than 2 months away from being released. ffffffff yes. LMAO I FOUND OUT TOO, THAT I UPLOADED A STUPID INFAMOUS 2 DOODLE COMIC ABOUT THE NEW ZEKE/COLE EXACTLY ONE YEAR BEFORE THE GAME WOULD COME OUT. does this count as predicting it?
