I GOT A THING

yesterday i went to gamestop to finish paying off LA Noire. I did this in case my surgery leaves me in too much pain to go get it myself i can try to beg someone else to get it for me. but i doubt it will work cuz no one gives a shit olololol BUT ANYWAYS.... I also was gonna ask the gamestop dude if I could take a picture of their inFAMOUS 2 display for my website....the wishlist, you know?

But it wasn't up anymore! So instead I asked him what happened to it and he just whisks it out from behind the counter and presents it to me. I was like "I can have this?" AND THUS IT WAS SO...

Its also freaking huge (here is another one with my cat for size ref lol)

I've already put it up.

Also the guy at gamestop said he'd hold the other smaller inFAMOUS 2 display poster for me when the game comes out. I have the best gamestop.

I was really surprised. I knew they sometimes gave out the displays to people just because I've seen others in the community post about it (like the pokemon displays/etc) but IDK THE WAY THIS HAPPENED WAS SO COOL....and he has another one for me too saksdjlsa. i am excited. haha.

I tried asking my Gamestop for the shiny Suicune display, only to get a snark and nasty response! Again, the people that work at my Gamestop are such life hating jerks! I did get a Giratina Origin display off of eBay. The seller had saved it from the dumpster, LOL!! XD

I guess it was just meant to be for you, which is awesome...;)

wtf...? they send it back? BUT LOL what can they do with sending it back? I MEAN THEY'RE PROBABLY JUST GOING TO THROW IT AWAY/RECYCLE IT ANYWAY. they are just being lulzkillers there and that is lame.

i was told by someone who works at a store that "we send it back" actually means "go away we can't be bothered saving it for you", idk D: but like. STORES USED TO BE NICE, JB (a different chain) gave me a bunch of MD promo stuff once and an entire promo display from when Emerald came out with tons of display boxes and the stand and everything, but then I think their staff changed?

Ah yea.. that can make a difference. I'd actually asked about the inFAMOUS 2 display I'd gotten today about two or three weeks ago when I first noticed it... but someone else was working. I was basically seeing if I could put first claims on it and they were like saying YEA IDK......SOMETIMES WE TAKE THEM DOWN ON SUNDAYS.....THIS ONES GONNA BE UP A LONG TIME :C IDK.

but then this guy is just like OH YEA HAVE THIS.

i think it was the same guy that gave me the infamous 2 game informer though (for free) so maybe he's just the coolest guy that happens to be working at gamestop. LOL IDK BUT I GOT LUCKY SOMEHOW.

That was super nice of him! It really depends on the people at the store- the store at the mall near me is full of pushy douches but at the other store they're really chill and friendly. ( they also do shady shit at some stores like repackage used games as new; i've heard a lot of horror stories. )
