I've noticed you've been playing HL2 and the eps! C: How do you like them? :DDD Even though it's pretty outdated by now, it's still my favorite game series (Episode 2 is actually probably my favorite of all of them). You really don't need to have played the first one to play the second :V there's a few references here and there, but you can get by knowing the basics. C:

ALL CONSOLE GAMES SHOULD HAVE IT TOO.
i find myself trying to hold pause to quicksave in LA Noire now because it had been such a habit lolalso playing with my headphones was both amazing and terrifying. they have like surround sound SO SOMETIMES I'D HEAR ZOMBIE NOISES NEXT TO ME AND BE LIKE kldlajkdjs. but it also helped me not be surprised by that one toxic zombie that is hiding behind that one doorway that you probably wouldnt have expected.
though now i can board the DISAPPOINT IN VALVE EXPRESS bcuz there is no third one yet....but i suppose i am less disappoint than everyone that has waited 30948098 years by now. olololo.
also i feel like i should play portal 2 now but i need to save money so dilemmaALSO I'D HAVE NO ONE TO PLAY CO-OP WITH SO..... :'DALSO LA NOIRE IS A LITTLE HARDER THAN I THOUGHT. MMHMM" and then when you're walking away from the conversation the game is like BTW YOU GOT LIKE 1/4th OF THAT INTERROGATION RIGHT. and its like RARGH but the game is so beautiful and Cole is named Cole which makes me giggle like a fangirl BUT THEN HE IS ALSO AN ACTOR FROM MAD MEN WHICH IS A SHOW I REALLY LIKE so its amusing me a lot.
That sucks its not got a PC port though. D: I hope they will, eventually. ;-; AND I WISH YOU COULD GET A CONSOLE TOO. THEY ARE LOTS OF FUN. T_T
After I finished playing I read a bunch of stuff on the Half-Life wiki thing, so I think I'm more ~*~in tune~*~ with what's going on now.

I would highly recommend Portal 2 if you liked the first game. C: Valve games get cheap after they've been out for a while (although, this is coming from a PC gamer, idk how cheap the console ones get ;n;) and actually, P2 has dropped in price at least once since it's been released, as far as I noticed. :V Anyways, it turned out to have a gameplay that sorta mixed Portal and HL2, I loved it!! Lot longer too C: (also, I heard a possibility of future compatibility between consoles for co-op? I think this is because PS3 is getting/has Steam too. If that's the case, I'd co-op with you C:)
I still want a PS3 so I can play inFAMOUS and be able to nerd over it with you! As well as lots of other PS3 exclusive games and derp :C

im hoping the console prices drop too.. I can see online (via steam/etc) being easier to drop the price than the console versions.. :I BUT I AM HOPING. FFFF. it sounds fun and i heard some stuff that it somewhat ties into hl2 so im more interested in that as well.
i also heard rumors of ps3 being compatible with pc players too because ps3 does have steam support...the ps3 version also comes with a free copy of portal 2 for steam which is suuuuuuper cool, but im not sure if psn needs to be fully up for it to work. :C (online play is up now, but not the psn store...so cant use dlc codes/etc) but that would be super cool ;3; I'll have to look into that now...!
Ps3 has a lot of super cool exclusives too. I MEAN I MIGHT BE BIAS BCUZ I DON'T HAVE AN XBOX but they don't seem to have as many...? So if you PC game you get most of the xbox stuff anyway but not the ps3 stuff.
gamestop has been sending this coupon for $100 off a ps3 to select rewards members. I DOUBT I WILL GET ONE BUT IF I DO!? :D??
On that subject though! Valve has been using ARGs to announce games as of late. (Portal 2 had two ARGs actually!)So I'm hoping Valve does something huge to announce HL3/ep 3. I think it deserves it. I will be sure to get involved the next ARG they initiate!
Also noooo ;n; that's sad about the no trophy thing... although the PC version didn't get trophies for the main game and ep 1 until last year. Ep 2 had them since its release. So... hmm. :c that's still too bad though

YEA IM KIND OF SAD ABOUT THE TROPHIES. Some games don't have trophy support though, which is weird (even games like Resistance 1.) and I know some games got them patched in but valve does not give two shits about the ps3 port of orange box (in fact... EA did the port, so valve rly didnt do anything LOL) though now that's changed, I'm sure, since PS3 is okay with steam.
EVEN SMALL THINGS WOULD BE KIND OF COOL THOUGH LOL. I love it when I catch small references like that though. I WONT FEEL SO OUT OF THE LOOP LOL.

You should tell me what your steam account is so I can add you as a friend :D Also I am very very sad to say that retail copies of valve games are one time use deals ;n; BUT I cannot say this for sure about HL2 by itself! The OB is (I tried letting my friend use my copy, nope.avi ;n;) but you could try HL2 :D
The port was still fine enough for me to play through it, anyway. :D The loading times got a bit grating at times but otherwise... XD IM NOT TOO PICKY ON MY GAMES, AS LONG AS THEY DONT BREAK ALL THE TIME IM OK.

And yeah! It's not TOO expensive, but if you watch, Steam discounts games all the time. You could possibly get HL2+eps for maybe $10 total or less at the right time of year.

Valve has released concept art for it a while back, I think right after ep 2 came out (in 2007). There are only a few pieces of art as far as I remember ;3; and every so often we will get notes from Valve saying "there WILL be another HL game, be patient!" the most recent being a few months ago I think.
but that isnt v helpful man. ;-;
