if so
could you maybe price-quote me (or estimation) how much it would be for this:
ITS FULL OF MYSTERY
there is a few of them on yja right now and.....i am not sure what they are. at first i thought it was just the japanese promo copy of the game (like the European ones included in the press kits/etc) but then i noticed the disc is branded with "DVD" and not "BluRay" and now my interest has gone up by 70%
its listed fairly cheap so im inclined to think it is probably a disc with a trailer on it...but....i won't know unless i get one, right.
there is also some kind of inFamous 2 DLC code on there too, i think some of them mentioned it was from coro coro? does that make sense? i am not interested in the code (already have it) but the coupon itself is kind of neat looking. >_> the dlc vouchers we get here are like plain text HERE IS YOUR THING.
and this poster i wish it used the japanese box art though.
AND ONE MORE QUESTION, do you think it would be better to try to buy the game from yja? i still want to get the japanese version of inFamous 2 at some point...its so pretty, and the JP release of inFamous 1 is one of my favorites just because its so colorful.
k the end

This site calculates Noppin fees. If for some reason that isn't working, let me know and I can calculate them by hand.

What's your other option? The exchange rate is horrible right now, so it may or may not be cheaper to buy from Y!J.
.....:D i take it thats not a real number and it is broken, right? LOL.
ehh, like the same way I got inFamous 1, buy it off playasia or something for like $65~$70. There is one on eBay right now for $60. :I
which is the US price for games but i am just being cheap ohohoNoppin has a 250 yen bank transfer fee and a 500 yen commission fee for anything under 4000 yen. The approximate price of the others BEFORE international shipping is:
DVD: 1000 Y ($13.70) for a 100 yen bid
coupon: 1200 Y ($16.50) for a 100 yen bid or $ for the 500 yen BIN
posters: 1090 Y ($15) for a 100 yen bid
Note: I'm not 100% sure on the poster price because I don't know what shipping within Japan would be like for those. The auction has half a dozen shipping options. I think it would probably fall under the 240 yen category, but...
Add $1-$2 to each of those for a 3.5% payment handling fee (which I'm too lazy to calculate by hand), and add international shipping--which I might be able to combine with one of my packages, depending on if I win the auction--and add shipping from me to you to get the final total.
I'm going to bed soon because I have to get up early for a Y!J auction of my own. I don't mind bidding on any of these for you, though I'm not sure if the posters are the best idea since they might get damaged/folded when Noppin boxes them up and I have no idea what international shipping costs would be for them if you want to keep them flat.
Hmm... Well, I recently won an item for 3500 yen on Y!J. After fees it came to $70, and this was before shipping to me. If the price is over 2500-3000 yen, you're probably better buying it off ebay. A bid of 3000 yen would make your total $52 after fees, and you'd still have to pay internal and international shipping.
Also, that is a very good advice on the game. I will take a peek around... I don't have money for the game right now but I really do want to pick it up at some point. It's too awesome to let it slip past. :D Thanks though! This is exactly the information I was looking for.
If you ever want to figure out Noppin prices in the future, just add your bid + 250 yen bank transfer + commission fee (the commission fee amounts are listed on this chart) + internal shipping (usually noted in the auction, the numbers followed by the 円 sign) to get the total yen before international shipping. Then divide by the current exchange rate, which is around 73/74 right now, to get the dollar amount.
International shipping is a bit harder to calculate. I have a spreadsheet with all my Noppin purchases, so usually I'll look at previous shipping amounts and make a guess.
wry does curiosity do this to meeeee.
also you're awesome, thanks ;-;its a good thing the japanese have 0 interest in teen titans
but sotc is all the rage weep weep.....well other than the jp version of the game. PLZ TELL ME WHY JAPAN GETS SUCH PRETTY COVERS
For instance, I bought a Bulbasaur coin a few weeks ago. It ended up costing me $22. For one coin. I have no regrets because I am insane when it comes to Bulbas, but still... TWENTY TWO DOLLARS FOR A COIN.
BUT ITS THE GAME OF MYSTERY THAT MAKES IT FUN.
You'll have to tell me what's on the DVD if you win one. I'd look myself, except my DVD player can only switch regions a few more times before it auto-locks to region 1.
I'm going to bed now, but I'll be online around 4:30 am PST if you need me for anything else auction-related.
I will tell you. :b My DVD player had an option to switch to region 0 by getting into the service menu...which is good bcuz one of my favorite TV shows happens to be on a region 2 set. LOL. so watching this won't be an issue. |D i'll def let you know.
Thanks again though THIS IS AWESOME i am excite.
That translates to $14.48 after conversion and Paypal fees. Please send payment to nelsonn@alumni.upenn.edu and include what it's for in the memo.
I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do on international shipping. I was planning to not charge you and ship it with one of my own items, but I lost the auction in the last 5 minutes. I do have a group auction that I need to ship. It would be cheaper to ship your DVD with that, but the problem is that I don't know how much the DVD would increase the shipping cost, if any. I don't want to overcharge the GA participants on accident.
