Well, the average gamer is usually male, or so that is how most people think! The same seems to go for people who are model painters! I had repainted a figure of the Leonopteryx Rex from Avatar and I put it on eBay. The winner was shocked to find out I was a female. So, I guess only guys can like Zeke and repaint figures then?! XD
Being gamers, you would think they would know there are different versions?! Heck, can't pass up a $5.00 deal like that one...;)
Lol stastitics show the gap between male and female gamers is closing, but maybe they didn't think one would show up as a collector of infamous things?
You'd think so, anyway. Each version I have is clearly different too. Its not even subtle changes that I collect, but seperate covers and such. The red box one was 5 dollars too...I had to use the last bit of amazon credit I was getting because t was a one time deal, so what better way than some infamous? :D
When I was younger, if there was more Mario merchandise available to the US, I am sure I would of had a rather large collection! No one has the right to judge someone because of what they collect! Heck, I am 30 and I collect Pokemon, My Little Pony, and Zorg...Very interesting combo if you ask me! XD
I know some comic books can have different cover art, but the same comic inside! Heck, the same goes for TV Guides!! Some may think it is silly for people to collect them just for the different covers, but people do! Whatever floats their boat...;)
I agree, nothing like spending a credit on something you like/love! I had a credit for an MP3 download at Amazon, it was going to expire. Though it was only for $1.00, I did not want to waste it! So, I got 99 different dark classical music pieces for $2.50, of course I applied the credit and it only cost me $1.50! I call that a bargain...:D
Also its funny you mention comic books with different covers because the inFamous 2 hero edition comes with the first issue of the comics but with an alternate cover. hee hee.
AMAZON IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST. LOL. I was buying some DVDs in their black friday sale because they were ridiculously cheap (like $40 sets being $10) and there was an ad saying if I signed up for their credit card I could get free $45 in amazon dollars, but just for that one purchase. My dvds added up to less than that so I was like QUICK FIND SOMETHING and inFamous was on sale too for super cheap so i tossed that in as well and got it with the remaining credit. I had a little left-over, but that was the $5.00. I think 3 dvd sets and inFamous is good for that. :'D

Indeed it is, it is one of the places I go when I am shopping around for something in particular. I use to have an Amazon credit card, it was interest free for a year and I did get about $35 off of my purchase. I need to check them out on Black Friday, DVDs make great gifts! I agree...;)
Oh yea. It was $45 when I did mine. :'D That plus black friday was the best ever!! I still have my card, but I never use it. I keep it at home hidden away so its never even an option when im buying stuff lol. Always be sure to check amazon on black friday! You can get great deals and not have to fight mobs of people! LOL. The dvds I got weren't even old sets or anything either. :3
Hum, I wonder if it was $45 for Black Friday?! Either that, or they just raised the credit some?! That is a smart idea, I keep most of my credit cards hidden away too! Out of sight out of mind! I will note that for this year! I need all the deals I can get...;)
