but anyway today something happen that make me very excited. :D

i went to gamestop with my mom to buy my brother some triple games for his birthday... partly because he has everything else and partly because he really needs to play some of these games. >:[

I was going to buy him resistance 2 because we recently played r1 in co-op and he said he liked it. i would let him borrow my copy but this is easier and its his b-day AND WHAT ELSE DO I GET HIM.

the gamestop guy was like OH WAIT. I HAVE SOMETHING COOL FOR YOU. he goes in the back and then comes back out again and hands me a Resistance 2 Collector Edition. He then told me he was selling it for the game's used price ($20)... WHICH IS 60 DOLLARS OFF THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PRICE. i was like HOLY CRAP DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE OF THEM. he had one more. i uh, bought that one too. See, ever since I got the R2:CE way back in Nov 2008, it always bugged me mine had a bent up side. But I felt like too much of a picky douche to tell the guy at the counter to give me a different one at the time, and even down the line felt too shy to ask if i could have a display box/etc/etc. BUT NOW.....NOW I HAVE A NON-BENT UP BOX!! its also kind of hilarious that 2 copies that lived in a stock room for over 2 years are less beat up than mine...which i picked up on launch day.
