I GOT A NEW CAR.
WOO. i found this car on the webs about a week ago. it was sent over by the car buying service that was looking for cars in my budget. i saw this and was like OH IT LOOKS A LITTLE BETTER THAN SOME OF THE OTHER SHIT THEY'VE BEEN SENDING OVER...... so i look on the website and omg it looked so freakin sweet.
IT COULD DO /EVERYTHIN/
and then i called about it and was like I WANT THIS MAKE IT HAPPEN. but then it wasn't available. :(
however on friday the car guy called back and was like OH THAT ONE SATURN....YEA ITS BACK FROM DETAILING THAT'S WHY IT WASN'T AVAIL. YOU CAN LOOK AT IT IF YOU WANT. and i was like OMGYESPLZ.
so we went down. i test drove it.
first of all anything compared to crapwagon is going to be pretty much godly. HOWEVER. THIS /THIS/ car was like.... IDK MAN IT IS SO FREAKING NICE. SO SMOOTH. NO MORE RATTLES. MOON ROOF. THE AC WORKS. THE SOUND SYSTEM ISN'T SHIT. THE CUP HOLDERS AREN'T IN A STUPID PLACE. IT HAS HEATED SEATS. 6 CD CHANGER. CASSETTE. EQUALIZER BUILT INTO THE DASH. POWER DRIVER SEAT, POWER MIRRORS, POWER WINDOWS. IT GOES IN REVERSE WITHOUT YELLING AT ME. /WHAT IS THIS/
i was like i need this. :C I NEED IT. I WANT IT I NEED IT. I CAN BUY IT OMG.
and thus i did.
part of me is still like.....holy shit how did i get this car this car is too nice for me why was it so cheap there must be something wrong with it WHAT IS THIS.
i guess i feel like i don't deserve something this nice SO I AM CONVINCED SOMETHING IS SECRETLY WRONG WITH IT AND IT WILL RUIN MY LIFE LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE but omg i hope my pessimism is totally wrong and i got a lucky break for once in life i mean GOOD LORD this car is fucking beautiful.
its a 2002 Saturn L300. Only 88k miles (everything else i was being sent was 100k+ :|) The car fax checked out with nothing bad. the only repairs it ever went in for was regular maintenance stuff. i just...HOW DID THIS HAPPEN HOW IS THIS CAR MINE I STILL DO NOT EVEN ;-;

suddenly no one will be repulsed at the idea of me driving them anywhere bcuz my car isnt a rattle trap just waiting to fall apart
AND IT HAS HEATED SEATS. THE MOST USELESS FEATURE IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE BUT ITS SO FREAKING COOOOOOOL.
AND ITS MINE.
I DO NOT EVEN CARE IT LOOKS LIKE GENERIC JOE THE CAR #5. I DO NOT CARE AT ALL.
LOOK AT IT. LOOK HOW FUCKING BEAUTIFUL IT IS. HRNRGHH.
the glove box has a key hole on it but i did not get a key for it. not unless its inside that envelope inside the glove box that i did not open yet. :D

also you know what you should do, you should have Zeke in the car but not cole cuz he explodes them. Cole can ride on the roof. AND PEEK IN AT ZEKE THROUGH THE MOON ROOF TEEHEE.
When I got my car two years ago (inherited from my grandma) it had a whopping 25k miles on it (and she bought it used) it's like a 2001 or 2002. XD I love it but godddd it has the worst radio ever and the CD player is awful. I get decent music now that I've got my Zune FM transmitter in there, but normal radio was mostly static accompanied with song.
Also it is really short in the front so now any other car I see ever looks huge in front. XD
I'd say heated seats would be useful if you had a winter but you live in CA lol.
I have fabric seats so I don't need something silly like that. 8)
so i will just be in debt for five years paying this off BUT ITS OKAYstill though for what i could afford this is a pretty sweet deal. most of the other stuff i was being sent was like 100k+ mile ford explorers or more 1998 saturns (aka: clones of my shitty car that already died :|)
i just like bringing up the heated seats because it sounds so ridiculously fancy and snobby. i doubt i will ever use it because i have temperature issues hxc
and california lololBUT DAMMIT I HAVE EXTRA SPAGGLE AND CAN SOUND LIKE /THAT GUY/ WITH IT. LMFAO.also the only thing i think i like about the leather better than cloth is that it wont soak up spilled coffee in 2.3 seconds. D:

This is true. Good thing I don't drink coffee. c: My cup holders have random stuff like chapstick and other things in them that I'm not sure how they go there. I use one of them to keep the transmitter part of my Zune thing far enough away from my Zune so I get a mostly clear transmission. XD
DUDE YEA I DON'T KNOW MUCH EITHER TBH. ): My old car was always crappy though, and it had less than 100k... i think it was approx 95k when it died, even. :| so seeing them offering me clones of my 98 saturn that tanked at 130k miles was like "UHHHHHH HOW ABOUT NOT THIS ONE D:"
HAHA i like coffee too much man. ): My old car had the cupholders behind the gear shift thing too, and it was really awkward for the cup i usually had in there. :| one time i was trying to bring two coffees home and when i parked they got stuck in there, and uh, trying to get one out i accidentally spilled it on myself and the inside of the car... :| urgh.
however one of my cupholders was the LOOSE CHANGE/IPOD HOLDER and the other one usually would be for drinks because it was easier to get to. XD;
THIS ONE HAS A NIFTY LITTLE POCKET THING UNDER THE RADIO THAT LIKE INDENTS INTO THE DASH (you can see it in the pichur of the inside of the car above, its right in front of the gear shift thing), ITS ALMOST PERFECT SIZE FOR MY PHONE
which i use as my mp3 player nowAND ITS AMAZING LOL. the sound system kicks assssss compared to my old car too. ;-; idk if its just because of my other car had that constant DYING ROARING ENGINE thing going for it or if this stereo system really is just that much nicer (its probs both but i am like ;-;)ONE OF MY FAVORITE CDS WAS PRETTY MUCH IMPOSSIBLE TO LISTEN TO IN MY OTHER CAR BCUZ THE SPEAKERS MURDERED IT SO MUCH XD;
i listened to it today in my car and was like ;____; SO BEAUTIFUL.it also has one of those random little storage boxes in the middle of the driver/passenger seats too. IDK WHAT I WANNA PUT IN IT YET BUT I WAS LIKE "OMG COOL /THIS THING/."
And heated seats are super useful when it gets into the low teens. I hate cold cars.
if only...if only...as for the cheapness JUST ROLL WITH IT. idk maybe someone got murdered in the car, you should check it for bloodstains

the heated seats are pretty amazing. IT RAINED TODAY AND WAS ACTUALLY BELOW 50 FOR THE FIRST TIME IN WEEKS!! (it has been in the 80s... seriously D:) so i was excited to try them out :D HAHAHA.
The weather has been crazy here too! We had thunderstorms the other day while everyone else was having snow!! Toasty buns, ftw!! xXD

we got our car for 6k back in 2005 and its lasted us this long and saturns are actually really reliable cars SO YOU REALLY SHOULD STOP WORRYING SO MUCH NOW BUT I WILL KNOCK ON WOOD AS I TYPE THIS 8U

also i bought my originally car for about 6k in 2005...and welp, its dead now.. XDDDBUT IT WAS ALSO A JUNKER FROM THE START. THIS IS GODLY COMPARED TO THAT CRAPPY POS. so yay i hope its not a lie ;-;Man I loooove heated seats. I lived in Houston so our lows were usually in the 80's but on the two days of the year when it's in the 40's I would turn on the seatheat & it feels so good on the back ( and now i live in like the middle of Texas & it snows here and it's terrifying ). I hear it's therapeutic!

Check the AC and Heater - those are the things I've noticed most about old cars (both my parents and a friend who bought a used car) that break but since everything else in the car works fine, it all seems great.
Overall sounds like an awesomeness deal, especially the millage. And Saturns are AWESOME, those things run like cockroaches. *.* FOREVER<3
FFF I AM EXCITED OKAY. i hope this one runs better than my old car! (it was a saturn too) but my old car always had issues. It probably was in an accident or something before. :| i never should have bought that car lol.
I don't know much about Saturns (I'm a Toyota!fag), but it certainly looks like that car was a good choice. :> Good price too! Excellent price, actually! Ahhh I'm so happy for you ;u;
Also I am way jealous of your heated seats. Probably useless where you live, but I've drive in 40 below weather at least once a year ;n;
i've heard from a lot of people saturns are good cars! im just hoping it holds up. i think it will though :3 It's already miles beyond my other car even from day 1. (it always rattled and vibrated from the start :s)
I USED THE HEATED SEATS LAST NIGHT!! it was liek 40 and raining and it was amazingggggg. ;3; of course i never have to drive that far anywhere either. xDDD
