IDK IF ANYONE CARES ABOUT GAMING NEWS AS MUCH AS I DO.... but I am posting this sure to be giant-ass tl;dr because it's my LJ and I'll do what I want.

BUT........ Let me start from the start. I set up my twitter to send me Insomniac Games's tweets to my phone because I am a stalker a really cool bro. This morning I woke up with like 10 text messages from Insomniac via Twitter.

Starting with this one.

I shat bricks.

Insomniac has been Sony's beef since ps1 days (Spyro the Dragon). THIS IS SO WEIRD AHHHHH. but then of course I got mega butthurt because I assumed this meant no Resistance how dare i doubt insomniac right

And you know what happens when I get butthurt about things, right? That's right! I post 9000+ updates on Twitter!!

Also I had read This Kotaku article from my phone.

Which clears up a lot of it, mostly this bit interested me:

We've heard that Insomniac Games has agreed to produce at least one more Ratchet & Clank title and perhaps two more Resistance games. Price declined to confirm those details, but did verify that his company is still working on both franchises.

Oh goodie. Also this apparently isn't going to be announced at E3. So uhm, Resistance 3, can you make an appearance? Please please. Though I suppose the blog I linked earlier on the in the post pretty much confirms Resistance 3 won't be out this year. As they talk suddenly about needing longer development cycles for their games, and it's been a ridiculously long time for Insomniac to have waited to announce something. The pieces really fit, which is really sad for me, since I had been looking forward to Resistance 3 so much. as everyone knows but I can respect that if it means best game ever. am i rite? :D

Also I accidentally promise insomniac I would get their new IP game on launch day:






........but we all know I'd get it anyway don't even lie. Also check out how much of a fangirl I am. I am like seeping with OMFGIMACRAZYASSFANGIRLHAAHUAHSAKJ rays in that last tweet. mmhmm.

Also seriously every game ever is being announced before R3 i swear. IF E3 COMES AND GOES WITH NO WORD FROM INSOMNIAC I WILL PUNT A WALL.
