So finally broken steel makes it out for PC. Actually it did last night.


I downloaded it the second I found it...which was around 1am. I should have gone to bed because I had work at 9am this morning...and that was the plan, but by the time I had gotten all ready for bed... I wanted to take one more little peek at the download progress, and WHOA, it was done. (verizon FiOS ftw!)

So.......... of course i fired it up and tried to make Charon go in and DO THE CODE THANG.

Lol I got his new dialogue and found it pretty amusing... but when I told him to go into the purifier he just stood there and stared at me like he didn't know what to do. LOL when I tried to talk to him again he responded like I was a stupid moron and told me I needed to cycle the airlock otherwise he couldn't turn on the purifier.

HE STOOD THERE TELLING ME THAT FOREVER until the stupid thing exploded and everyone died.

I figured it might have been the mod I installed on Charon (so he can wear the fancy suit )

I unloaded the mod and reset Charon's inventory, SURE ENOUGH, just as soon as I did that he trucked in and did the code thing.

I am pleased forever. I don't much care for playing the rest of broken steel (sad huh? well, some bastard spoiled the end on the bethsoft forums yesterday, and my pc version explodes all the time and...... yeah) but I just wanted charon to put in the code.

THIS IS THE ENDING THE GAME SHOULD HAVE HAD ALL ALONG.

ps: when exploring the ending cinematics for the game I found out that the robot and fawkes can go in as well. AS THEY SHOULD.
