PLUS his sniping is exactly like how i enjoy to play the game. xD Cole and Boone were having the manliest of man time perched on a rock and sniping giant fire ants from 29848 miles away (IN THE DRY LAKE, ACTUALLY, NEAR THE 188 xD) cole got like 208902984 sneak criticals from it, and any that he missed boone would pick off. plus boone's perk is THE BEST...and tbh combined with ED-E makes it even better.

I NEVER USED FAWKES LMFAO cuz nedge never got that far in the story yet and then vlakume was second and uhhh 1) vlakume had charon already and 2) vlakume is evil so cannot use fawkes anyway. charon is the best. I SWEAR TO GOD BOONE IS THE CHARON FOR THIS GAME. they are both angry and mostly quiet....though boone has more of a personality anyway.
