kind of sad considering I've had the game for a year now. :D; Longest time spent getting a platinum ever? Perhaps....perhaps..... its not like it was even that hard getting it lol I just play so slow.
The last trophy I needed was the level 20 nuetral karma (for the platinum, I still have the Pitt trophies and to get 30 nuetral and 30 good karma trophies but that's another story) and unlike everyone else and their dog I actually played through three files to get them (I had this plan from the start, even)
So yeah, the last one I needed was for good ol' Crandlemeyer (Randy... as he's better known)
Did some shenanigans in Point Lookout, then trawled around the wasteland doing random quests to pick up the last bit of XP. I wandered into Minefield and found a house filled with Radroaches and being the awesome time waster I am I proceeded to VATS all of them unarmed. The best ever is when you can VATS one unarmed while it's jumping at you because then your character will upper-cut it across the room and omg it's so hilarious. Out of a house filled with roughly 10 rad roaches I only got two of them to launch across the room, but fkjgdfjkg best ever ok everyone should do this.
Oh then I wandered up near the Anchorage Memorial and ~*~*out of nowhere~*~*~ a super mutant overlord appears and smashes Randy in the back of the head with a sledgehammer. Ok, so I dart gunned it in the legs and then had a manly melee battle with it. Fertilizer shovel vs Sledgehammer, it was quite manly...except it was taking too long so I tossed like 7 mines in front of it somewhere in there, then finished it off with the shovel.
I wasted a good hour following the broken metro tracking to see if there was a pile of rocks near it. Does anyone know if the metro tracks at any point has rocks near it? Or something to climb on? ahhh I super want to walk along the metro tracks but I'm not sure a good place to do it. I got close with some old church building and super mutants in there, I think its where you find one of the Keller tapes but yeah... very close there but one bit of track I could reach apparently isn't solid and I fall right through it (lame) so no-go there. ;_;
Oh yeah! I found a *REAL LIVE* deathclaw wandering the wasteland. Oddly enough I have not really found any of these on any of my files...even when Vlakume took up wandering the entire northern bit of the map around level 18~20ish that's where Deathclaws live, right? :|
Anyway, yea I found it from Arefu of all places, because I wanted to take more things to sell for caps (to buy Randy a drug lab :D Oh yeah~) and they already hate him there anyway (Lucy West yells at Randy with angry mouth words because of this) but then I took up sniping cars from the broken overpass from up there lol. I love blowing up the cars. ;; But yeah, I saw something moving in the distance and t'was a 'claw. I fought it like a
He's still a bit traumatized after not being able to kill those swampfolk from the ritual site. (Eventually had to use a stealthboy and sneak out after being decimated by them a dozen times) Stupid Bethesda, making strong enemies =/= adding 900000 hit points to them. >:[
Oh speaking of the ritual site...the ritual knife...I read about it on the fallout wiki. And guess what.....? OH RIGHT, CLIPPING ERRORS more of them, even. The knife is irretrievable on the ps3 version because it gets lodged in the table. I guess it's possible to sometimes get it out by tossing grenades at it or mines or something but I lacked both when I went there. Someday, angry knife, someday you shall be mine. ;; (Is it even any good? If it sucks I may just skip it, I have a feeling those angry swampfolk are still in there waiting for me)
LOL also I finished that Gotta shoot 'em in the head quest with Randy and of course he handed the keys over to Crowley. Anyway Crowley of course went off to get his magical armor and Randy followed him out but in the concourse area Crowley got stuck behind the entrance doors. :D I could see the green marker that was him on the compass thing but yeah...he was in the door. It took me exiting the Museum and then waiting two hours and out he popped from the front door. LOL. Still though, very strange. I wonder if this is just a PS3 issue, as are so many others. Though this didn't happen on Vlakume's
but yea, now it's supa late and imma go sleep now ok. |D
