adam jensen has the coolest hair
so if you've had the unfortunate expirience of being
eyebrowaddict or
thekayla recently you'd know i've suddenly developed a borderline creepy obsession with deus ex: human revolution.
it all started with a trailer...
btw idk if anyone here doesn't like the violence but this has a bit of it in it. :I HERPDERPDERP.
AND THEN... i got the game for my birthday. sort of...well, my brother claimed he didn't know what games i like (despite me mentioning an interest in deus ex before my birthday :I) and just got me gamestop cards that equaled the amount of a ps3 game. soooo i got deus ex!!!1
idk if i can even say why i love this game. there's a lot of things in it. its so ridiculously shiny (i mean, dat trailer.) and you get mini cutscenes for punching dudes in the face which sounds lame but is actually hilarious and amazing all at once. or maybe its because you can also do things like this. but also maybe it has to do with jensen's perfect hair. srsly i keep talking about his hair. i don't even know you guys. look at this perfect hair.
i stayed up till 3am last night just to beat the game. idec that i still feel like crap and i got like 4 hours of sleep.......aaaaand i still want to play it like 9 more times.delicious platinum trophy. it also has a really cool soundtrack... i might try to get my hands on it when it comes out.
anyway, jensen has perfect hair, you guys. i've never really paid much attention to hair styles on characters this much. IDK WHY I EVEN LIKE HIS HAIR SO MUCH BUT I DO.though Zeke gets +10 for sideburns which are cool too, ngl SO LIKE......f-list, since I am certain none of you give two shits about Deus Ex:HR, so instead plz to share with me who you think has the best hair.

Do you think it looks racist? Like, while playing it and stuff. I was thinking of giving it a try, it looks cool. (i have the weirdest problems while deciding what games to buy)

BUT ANYWAY its super neat. ITS LIKE RIDIC SHINY when i started it, seeing those cut scenes on my TV i was like Y U SO PRETTY, GAME. it goes along the stealth kind of gameplay, which honestly i had never tried before.......but its awesome. ;-;

No one can compete with Zorg's hair of awesomeness, LOL!! XD
Seriously, whatever hair spray Jensen is using I wants to know. I is tired of my silly frizzy hair...:P
The game looks awesome though, but I am a little unsure of what Jensen's purpose is int he game. Is he looking for the person who took his woman from him?! I guess if I played it, I would no more...*needs a PS3*
no subject
HAHA seriously, I need some too.
SORT OF, YEA. He works for a biotech corporation as a security manager. the girl they show at the start of the trailer yelling for him is one of the scientists that works there and also his kind of sort of girlfriend?? she gets taken when the building is under attack by a mysterious group, and jensen is gravely injured. to keep him from dying he ends up getting "augmented" which is why he has the robot parts. the company he works for makes them, and it is under a lot of controversy in the game universe. so the game is trying to figure out who attacked that day, and why, and stuff like that. :D
Also, This game isn't just PS3. It is also available on Xbox and PC. :D

I thought maybe they killed his "girlfriend" and he went all revengey and stuff, thanks for clearing that up. It was an awesome trailer though, what was the bit about his muscles being exposed in the beginning and him rising up with wings?! I found that part most intriguing. I want to play now...
Really, I don't know if my spiffy new laptop could handle the game though?! I have an original XBOX, not a 360...:\

Actually, that is it. He is still trying to figure out why/how and stuff like that... but he is definitely fueled for this because of her... As for the other part, I am not entirely sure? :'D I think it is just a weird dream he has... honestly after completing the game I can say the majority of the footage in that trailer is not even in the game. Which is kind of neat because that means they spent a lot of time making a trailer.... but also leaves some things to question. LOL.
HMMM as for if you can run it, try checking this webste: click (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri) its really handy! the full name of the game is Deus Ex: Human Revolution. :D
no subject
Weird dream or not, it was still neat! The game would make for an awesome movie too. The trailer even got me interested in the game and that is saying something, since I have been out of gaming for a long time. Well, I am still kind of in the Pokemon ring of course. A game that leaves questions is a game due for a sequel...:D
Thank you for the link, it is now analyzing my computer, I just got the following:
"Your computer can run this product because your system meets the Minimum requirements. If you want to see how you can meet all the Recommended requirements to have a great experience, look at the Recommended section below"
My computer passed, yippee...Now to get some $$$...;)

ALSO.. I am not sure if this game can have a sequel or not?! Deus Ex is actually an older game series.. with two others being released on PC/Ps2, I think?? I haven't played the older ones... but Deus Ex: Human Revolution (this one) is a prequel to those..so technically the sequel is actually the first of the older games. there is a "hidden scene" after the credits of DX:HR that is setting up the first game, even.
...but the other games don't have Jensen in them SO I DON'T MAN, I AM TORN OK. ;-;
That's awesome!!! :D Games often have really good sales going for them in the coming weeks. Steam especially. I am not sure if you have Steam? I would probably recommend that for the game.. it is all digital but they have REALLY good sales there. Black Friday I know they do lots of good stuff...sometimes up to 75% off temporarily on certain titles. I have a couple of my non-PS3 games set up through there and I like it. :D

I had actually never heard of the series, but like i said I have really been out of the loop! Ah, a prequel...then it does make sense if there is no sequel. Why don't the other games have Jensen?! What happened to him?! I know, he started a hair care product line...XD
I'd like to get a control for my PC, I hate using the mouse and keyboard. Though, I did survive American McGee's Alice and Clive Barker's Undying without a controller. No, I don't know what a Steam is?! I will have to check the site out...;)
no subject
I actually hadn't really heard of it either. I mean, I heard it mentioned here or there just because this game was coming out and I frequent game sites but it didn't catch my attention and I didn't know it was a prequel or anything like that till I got my hands on it. :D Though I did find an old PC copy of the first Deus Ex in some games my dad was sorting a few weeks ago. I'm going to give it a go too when I have a chance. ...LOL Hair care products... YEA. he would know best, huh?
I prefer a controller too, which is why I mostly play games on my PS3 or other consoles.. (and most of my games are PS3 exclusive...LOL) but there is one instance I can think of where I preferred the PC version of a game...:D I played through it like 3+ times on my PC after already beating it once on my ps3. Mouse and Keyboard takes some getting used to but its not bad. Though sometimes in sticky situations I often found myself hitting the wrong keys on the keyboard! ...that doesn't happen with a controller. LOL.
As for steam, its a program you install to your computer that keeps track of your PC games and has a built in store and stuff. It's neat. It's website is here (http://store.steampowered.com/). If you do download it and make an account let me know... I will add you to my friends list..:D

Cool beans about finding an ol' PC copy, kind of a coincidence if you ask me. Let me know how the first Deus EX games is. Though, I am sure the heroes hair is not as spiffy...XD
Well, Alice and Undying were PC only releases and I just had to have them! The keyboard was a pain with certain parts of Undying, when I had to get the Patrick Galloway to jump over a bottomless pit. Let's just say it took a few goes...;_;
Thanks again for another spiffy link. I am going to bookmark the site for now. Like I said I am getting ready, or I am suppose to be getting ready to go to a football game...xXD

I agree! It was when I was showing an interest in the series before playing this one...and I was thinking I might want to give it a whirl..:D I am glad I snagged it now. It didn't come in a box but the CD envelope it is in is still sealed! I am sure the hair will not be as spiffy...this game is 10 years old, I think? LOL.
ah, yes. jumping is kind of difficult sometimes on PC... <_< i had this issue too playing Half-Life 2... the good thing about most PC games is the quicksave feature, so if you miss something its just one button press away from trying again. :'D I think only one console game has quicksave on PS3... after having it on there I started wondering why more games don't use it. ;-; its so handy... Awesome! :D Alright, lemme know! And have fun at your game...

The game is 10 years old now?! Then again I think Spyro came out in 1998, the year I graduated. I feel so old...You will have to let me know your opinion of the main characters hair in the original Deus EX...;)
After a while, I got so mad that I could not make such a simple jump that I started purposely throwing Galloway down the hole. A lot of good that did...Yes, Undying did have the fabulous quick save feature. Maybe, more games do not have it for it makes a game easier?! I am not sure if I will get a chance to look the site over today?! I have a ton of messages to answer thanks to yesterday and it is cleaning day, yippee...:\

Yes it is!! It originally released in 2000. The second one came out in 2003...:D ...and the third one (Human Revolution) just came out... 3 months ago?! long time for another in the series.
LOL I have had games that do that before. Some parts where I keep dying I eventually just sit down the controller and watch the character die, and then tell the character that he sucks. (because obviously they are doing it on their own.....:b) I think the quicksave feature is a PC magic thing. Maybe it has to do with PC having more buttons to choose from. I know the PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution has a quick inventory select at the bottom of the screen which is absent from console versions...bcuz lack of buttons. :b
And its alright! Just whenever, and only if you want to! i know things can be busy sometimes..:D

Sometimes it is better when sequels get spaced out, it helps to keep things fresh and original. I know Cliver Barker's Undying was suppose to get a sequel, but it got canned! ;_;
LMAO!! XD I'd tell my character how much they sucked too!! Undying has a quick inventory, I think Alice might of had that feature too?! Stupid memory...
Of course I want too, I was thinking if I can afford to get Deus EX, that maybe I will take the laptop to Rodney's and play it while I am there. I got most of the cleaning done, I decided to do the rest tomorrow for I am still really tired from yesterday...:\

ahhh i hate that so much. :( none of my games are in sequel limbo right now though... unless the crappy ending of inFamous 2 counts...it needs something else to fix it. :b
unless i count the recent DLC as the new ending.I wouldn't be surprised if it had that feature. :D it's pretty standard in most PC games. as is quicksave. the one benefit of the keyboard I suppose.
well thats good most of it is done...that sounds like a fun plan. :) i am about to play some more myself...
no subject
American McGee's Alice got a sequel, but I do not think it went over well. Don't you hate when a game has a crappy ending?! :\
Guess what movie is on SYFY?! XD
Honestly, I do not do much while I am at Rodney's. Sometimes I take art projects over there, like Nightmare Moon. The rest of the time, I watch TV and entertain Rodney...:P
no subject
ah yea, I heard about the sequel...I know it has some fans. There is a theme for it available on playfire anyway. :D I don't know much about the series in general though.
Lets guess...Fifth Element!? i should watch that one of these days. maybe i should get my DVR to record it if it is on on syfy a lot? :)
Well that sounds pretty relaxing anyway. :D a good way to end your day, right?

Idk man, I think p much everybody in SE games has perfect hair. It's like a rule. Even though this game was only published by SE, they still had to meet those obligations to fly the SE flag.

HAHAHA jensen should also be made of belts and zippers too then, for it to really count. :'D
