no he srsly does ok. his kid gets kidnapped by a serial killer and he has to cut off his finger to get clues to find him. i swear im not making this up

Wait, how does that even work? I can understand cutting off your hand if you need to escape from handcuffs or something, but why would a serial killer care about your finger?

the tagline of the game is like "How far would you go to save someone you love" and basically the killer sends Ethan through all these trials to prove that he will do anything to save his son or something. YEP.
