lol How could you not know after that long? My friend had a similar situation happen with one of her ducks, but from what I understand, it's harder to tell a bird's sex than a cat's sex. (And I still call her duck a boy. Poor gender-confused duck...)
you know what? I honestly have no idea. I've had cats all my life (girl cats, even!) and I've never had this problem with any of them. I think it was because we found her in the street when she was tiny and I remember right off trying to figure out then. (it's really hard to tell on tiny kittens) and since I mistakenly thought she was a boy since then, I just stuck with it. I don't really spend much time looking at my cat's ass so I guess I never noticed that uh, she was a she? XDD;;
I still feel like the worst cat owner for not knowing sooner though! I bet that vet must have thought I was retarded or something lmaooo.
also, maybe the fact that she is the first long hair cat i've ever owned has something to do with it?? XD;
