so, LJ, our time is coming to a close?

that new "beta" friends page will be forced upon everyone whether they like it or not once it's done. confirmed by LJ staff member here.

because i like being blinded by LJ when i read it.

:\ anyone here moving to dreamwidth? I already have an account, if a lot of you guys go, I will too. I don't know if I can read the new page. I suffer light sensitivity issues and reading that page for too long will trigger headaches. sucks to be me i guess.

Yes, that new beta friends page is terrible. I tried it, thinking "surely it can't be as bad as everyone says"... but it was worse. I had to switch back within 30 seconds because I could feel a headache coming on.

Congratulations, LJ. You have managed to trigger a headache in a person who never gets headaches. (Seriously, I can count on one hand the number of headaches I've had that weren't related to me being sick or banging my head on something.) I can only imagine how much worse it is for the people who do get headaches/migraines.

I still plan to use LJ for pkmncollectors, but I may be forced to migrate to DW or somewhere else for my personal journal. I already have a DW account. The only reason I don't use it is because 90% of my friends and communities are still on LJ.

Yea. it is awful, and I can't really stand it. I'm a little upset because the same reason, my friends and communities are here. hopefully if they mess everything up more people will go to DW.

as is, if they roll out these changes the only way i will be able to keep up on journals is to check everyones pages myself... :\ the new friends page is absolutely unusable for me. its like, there is a reason my journal is not blaring white. bleh.

a lot of people are saying the white bugs their eyes/gives headaches too but looking like LJ's track record of not giving any fucks.

DW admin talk to and interact with their userbase... LJ shut down their US office and now all the admins forcing these changes are Russian. they dont talk to us. they obviously dont care enough to try to talk to us. its unfortunate.
