SO DO I WIN "BIGGEST INFAMOUS NERD" TITLE NOW!?
so like i am sure it is no secret to you, flist, that i need the inFamous 2 press kit like burning. i am noticing slowly more of them finding their way to various media outlets, and i'm hoping after the game releases they will trickle into sales and i will nab one (even if i have to sell my kidneys to get one i will ok this is infamous)
BUT TO MAKE UP FOR THIS I SPENT A LARGE PORTION OF YESTERDAY RE-CREATING COLE'S COURIER ID CARD AS SEEN IN THE PRESS KIT (the bottom one in this here picture). I basically took that photo, scanned a real ID card to get the size in 300dpi and then went about copying it in photoshop.
IT TOOK ME LIKE 5 HOURS. most of that time trying to find fonts that matched. they're not the exact fonts but they're close enough i dont think anyone will tell.
but then i don't have a printer so i went to a copy store and had the employees print it out for me. THEY SEEMED KIND OF LIKE ANNOYED OF ME so i only got two (one of them was an error but im keeping it anyway) someday i'd really /really/ like to get some more of these made. lol.
THIS IS THE "ERROR" CARD. its a little smaller but i keep it in my other wallet in the photo section because i am a HUGE NERD. but it fits 100% perfect in there. so i am please.
then this one:
the laminate sleeve is slightly too big for it but im too nervous to cut it down in case it ruins. :( Seeing as this is my only copies....
ALSO BONUS FUN FACT: on the back is a QR code that opens my website.
in case you didnt notice too i replaced i2 cole with i1 cole becasue I STILL DONT LIKE I2 COLE. WHY IS HIS FACE SO STUPID. also i1 cole was the empire city courier anyway STOP TRYING TO RETCON MY INFAMOUS, SUCKER-PUNCH.
i am so excited about this though. i want to print out a tiny one and laminate it and make it into a key chain AND IT CAN HAVE THE QR CODE ON THE BACK SO I ALWAYS HAVE MY WEBSITE WITH ME HOLY CRAP.. i am a hopeless nerd.

ALSO IN UNRELATED NEWS i asked my brother if it was possible to share games on steam because i wanted to play around with hl2 on my pc and he was like YOU KNOW I THINK I HAVE A COPY OF IT I GOT IN SOME STEAM SALE FOREVER AGO so then he gifted it to my account AND IT IS THE BEST DAY EVER. im playing it with a hilarious sound mod that![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

though this is making me realize i need a new freaking mouse because my left click is like DID YOU PRESS LEFT CLICK BCUZ IM P SURE YOU PRESSED NOTHING :D and also holding my mouse button down it just stops randomly......but my mouse is probably 90eons old so this is probs why. BUT OH WELL. GREAT LULZ ARE BEING HAD ANYWAY. :D
