all the ps4 news that came out today has me super excited for all the new games. gfjgjdklgl. they're also remaking a game i've always kind of loved because i remember watching my brother play it when I was too small to comprehend games... (plus it was a computer game so im not too great with those, especially then haha) It was on the amiga 500 we used to have and i just....

it's so weird lol. I mentioned it a little on twitter and its funny how excited I am to see more for this game? I wish I knew what studio was working on it. I want to see more. D:

I'm not sure if I'll be buying the remake or not, but I am definitely going to be keeping my eye on it. The game is Shadow of the Beast, if you're curious. It came out in 1989. It's really weird they're suddenly just doing a remake for this. o_o

I wanted to talk to someone all day about how excited I am about this but ... no one can relate ?? I guess the next time I see my brother I'll tell him about it if he hasn't heard but he usually brushes off any game related stuff I bring up. ha. Even though this IS Shadow of the Beast and he played the crap out of that game... I'd like to think he cares? I DON'T KNOW.

its also weird that they're remaking this game when they shut down studio liverpool last year (was it last year? i dont remember -_-) considering it used to be psygnosis.............the studio that MADE shadow of the beast. :| lol

PFFT WHATEVER MAN WHATEVER. you just weren't cool enough for the amiga. i see how it is. though i think they ported the game to genesis and snes...? though not as good as the amiga i don't think lolol

WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE TEASER? I'm not sure how to feel about it yet...? I ... I just want to see more? The setting in the original is kind of dark...dingy... I guess the teaser had that. The beast model isn't too entirely like the original (its similar, and while, yes, it was just a 2d side scrolling sprite they were working with, the splash screen did have an "HD" (for amiga) version of him...and he doesn't really look like what they did. :b)

BUT THEY KEPT THE SAME LOGO?????? so im like hgngggnnghhhh

i wasn't, okay :'( i wasn't cool enough for a snes or genesis either... all i ever had was a ps1 when i was a tiny child.

as someone with no prior experience with the game, i need to see more to really be hooked. it looks like it could be interesting but a short teaser just isn't enough D:

LOL FFFFFF. that makes me feel old. lol. I REMEMBER WHEN THE N64 AND PS1 CAME OUT. D': SNES is what I had growing up......and Amiga I guess. Lol. There's a couple amiga games I remember still. I mostly watched my brother play those though.

haha that's the bad thing about teasers. I'm not super hooked either but my nostalgia goggles are like "MUST HAVE MORE MORE MORE" kind of excited? I want to see how they are with this world... I know they actually made a Beast 2 and 3 also but I never played those |: So they could also be pulling stuff from those. I should look into them.

yeah most of my childhood gaming was the PS1 i had and the N64 my neighbors had lmao. i got to play very little on the nes/snes... and nothing on anything else :'D

i feel like most of the people excited right now are probably the ones who played the game when they were younger... because otherwise the teaser isn't all that intriguing D: i do hope it turns out to be a great game though.

you really should look into beast 2 and 3. you need to be familiar with ALL THE THINGS.

I think that's probably it... and I don't know anyone else who played Shadow of the Beast...or even owned an amiga. SO THAT'S KIND OF A THING LOL. i agree on the teaser though. i mean, im not at the "JUST TAKE MY MONEY" stage yet. i need more.

actually no my dad still had his atari 2600 and we played around with that as kids too. I HAVE VAGUE MEMORIES OF CERTAIN ATARI TITLES AS WELL.
