too early to judge

So turns out Fuse actually is Overstrike but reworked. Insomniac posted a really cool trailer about it last night (a trailer that was originally delayed because of legal issues (sad)). I thought it was awesome. It showed off some of the new weapons that are going to be in the game, and Insomniac's specialty is making crazy awesome weapons, so they look great.

And then a lot of people were being quite negative on it. I didn't understand it. They kept insisting the game was "dead" because they changed the cartoony look to be more realistic? That was it. Said the "humor" was gone and the game was dead all judged off the newer art style. The trailer didn't even have any character dialogue in it. How could they know if it had all the humor removed? OH WAIT. WE DON'T. Insomniac has already said the soul of the game is still there. But everyone is so quick to call it a generic FPS without even seeing anything else.

I started actually commenting to people on youtube about it... Doubt it made much of a difference but at least no one was jerks about it (i've heard people on youtube can be) ...and then somewhere in my replies Insomniac thanked me for being a fan. SO AT LEAST THERE'S THAT. Sigh.

In other news there is no other news. I've just been reading comics and playing games to pass the time. Oh, well, just kidding. There's a new cat in our house but I didn't get very good pictures of him yet, so I won't post any.

I hate it when people judge a game like that. It reminds me of all the complaints about Wind Waker's art style. At least play the game before passing judgment.

Everyone saying that the game is dead just from having watched one trailer that shows almost nothing is an idiot and just looking for reasons to complain because they can. It's exactly the same as the people who go "OMG THIS GAME TOO BROWN".

I hope you post thousands of pictures of the new kitty soon though because he's super cute.

People are always looking to be critical of things for no reason it seems like. :/ Esp in the gaming community. Insomniac knows what they're doing so I doubt they're going to make adjustments just because of some jerks complaining. It would be nice if they released some new videos soon though just to show more of what we originally saw but with the new makeover. I mean more exposure would be nice anyway, but it would be doubly nice to silence the haters.

Also jsyk, I am actually able to see Zeke on your background for like the first time ever lmao. My laptop screen is wider. YAY. :D
