Most certainly a package accidentally opening itself can happen! It actually happened to my Suicune MC+ figure, no joke the glue the holds the plastic to the backing failed. It is never to late to open the packaging on anything!! YES, IT IS INFAMOUS...SO DO IT...I'm terrible! XD
